At Mount Sackville Nursing Home, we have a rich history rooted in the tradition of compassionate care and education. For over 200 years, the Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny have dedicated themselves to providing exceptional care and support to people of all religions and backgrounds worldwide.

Our History
Our story began 150 years ago when the Sisters established Mount Sackville School in Dublin, Ireland. Recognising the need for specialised care, they soon opened “the infirmary” to tend to the health and well-being of the sick and elderly sisters of the Order. This marked the beginning of our journey towards becoming a trusted provider of comprehensive healthcare services.
In the year 2000, we embarked on a transformative journey by refurbishing our facility and registering it as a Nursing Home with the Health Service Executive (HSE). This significant milestone enabled us to expand our scope of care and cater to the needs of a broader community. Although our name has changed, our unwavering commitment to delivering warm, person-centred, and professional care remains steadfast.
