As the Christmas season draws near, we are excited to share a special initiative that brings joy to our residents and helps those in need in our community. This year, Mount Sackville Nursing Home is hosting a Christmas Raffle, with all proceeds going directly to support the Dublin Homeless. It’s a wonderful way for us to spread the holiday spirit and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
The raffle is being expertly organized by our beloved Sr. Claire Little, whose dedication and care for others continue to inspire us all. Sr. Claire has always had a heart for helping those less fortunate, and this raffle is another beautiful example of her commitment to spreading kindness and compassion. Her efforts are a testament to the true spirit of Christmas — bringing light to others in their time of need.
Raffle tickets are now available for purchase from Debbie at the reception. She is more than happy to assist you with any questions or ticket purchases. Whether you’re a resident, a family member, or someone visiting, we invite you to participate and try your luck for a great cause. The raffle will be drawn on the 13th of December, so don’t miss your chance to win and support an incredible cause.
For those who are unable to visit in person, we’ve made it easy to support the raffle and donate to the Dublin Homeless. Simply click the “Donate” button at the bottom of this post, and you can make a contribution through PayPal or by card. Every donation, big or small, helps bring us one step closer to making a real impact this Christmas.
As we come together for this cause, we’re reminded of the warmth of community and the power of giving. We’re grateful to Sr. Claire for leading the way, and to all of you who are supporting this raffle. It’s not just about the prizes; it’s about the love and kindness that we share in these festive times.
Thank you for being part of this heartwarming event, and for helping to bring a little extra hope to those in need this Christmas.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas filled with peace, love, and joy.
Note: Donations are managed by Mount Sackville Nursing Home’s staff nurse and website moderator Domagoj Kaurinovic!
